Sing you heart out....

I decorated this little notebook for my daughter. She is always writing song lyrics and poems on any piece of paper she can get her hands on. I was cleaning her room the other day and she had 15 different pieces of paper on her desk with little songs and poems jotted down. I decided to make her this so she could have them all in one place. I found the ribbon at wally world and thought is was so pretty. I wish I could have had pink paper that matched better but I just found this in my scraps. I didn't use any Cricut cartridges because I couldn't find a microphone I liked so I just drew on and cut it out. Sorry the pictures are blurry a new camera is on my wishlist! =)

I am entering this project in the
Simple Sunday Challenge: I'll Sing You a Song over at Getting Cricky with K. Andrews
Thanks so much for looking!

Hi Jenifer! This is Vicki...I am the guest designer from the Sunday Challenge over on gettingcricky.com this week...what a GOOD idea this card is! You know...I think you are like me...I have just started to do the challenges, blogs and blog hops in the past few months...and I am working on a new project and I feel like I need to design something, I will really use...not just something for the challenge or hop...you know what I mean? And your notebook is going to fit that bill to a tee! Anyway --- good luck on the challenge and thanks for joining in!

Hi Jen!

This is a great idea! Very cute! I'm a new follower and am excited to see more of your blog! I think that's fantastic that your daughter is so into poems, etc, and it is so nice of you to design this for her work. I would love for you to stop by sometime!
